This full-time position is scheduled for 40 hours per week. Qualified candidates must be available to work morning and afternoon shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Job Duties:

• Cleans guest rooms and stocks with appropriate supplies in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations.
• Picks up and removes trash from designated areas to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Changes linen and makes bed(s); cleans entire bathroom; sweeps and dusts each unit; cleans the windows, balconies and porches. Retrieves, stocks, restocks and stores the supplies according to current procedures.
• Maintains hot tubs in rental unit, including regular cleaning, water testing, and ensuring proper chemical balance in accordance with safety and health standards.
• Receives assigned section, keys, supplies and any priority room requests from the Executive Housekeeper.  Turns in keys and unused supplies at the end of each shift.  Checks with supervisor prior to clocking out at the end of each day.
• Responds to guest requests and reports guest concerns in a timely and hospitable manner.
• Reports any missing articles, damages or mechanical problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor and turns in any articles left in each unit.
• Coordinates with the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor relating to work priorities and provides assistance when/where needed.
• Checks amenities buildings (i.e., restaurants, pro shops, recreation and public areas) to ensure they meet cleanliness standards and are adequately stocked.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items.
• Sort laundry and treat stained items as needed.
• Inspect linens for cleanliness, stains, damage, and excessive wear.
• Operate laundry equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized laundry and linen storage areas.
• Monitor linen supplies and report shortages, damaged items, or equipment issues.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of laundry chemicals.
• Assist with other housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. 
• Strong teamwork and customer service focus. 
• High energy, dependable, and maintains a positive attitude. 
• Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements:

• talk, hear and speak with others using clear and professional language;
• endure long periods of driving, sitting, standing or walking in a hot, humid environment;
• move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance on an occasional basis;
• reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, climbing and stooping and use hands and fingers to handle or feel; 
• perform stressful and physical activity; and,
• drive vehicle for performance of duties.  

Experience & Education:

Six months prior housekeeping experience and high school diploma / GED preferred.
